OK, I have been searching the forums for an answer to my question, but, I can't seem to find my specific question. I guess I may have missed it so I'll post... :cool:
I have two Series 2 Devices, both use: NETGEAR WG111NA adapters to connect to my wireless connection. The second one I bought about 6 months ago for my bedroom and the first one I have had for about 2 years now. Both Tivo's have system software 7.2.1; on each wireless connection I have about 90-100% signal strength.
Here is my problem:
When streaming Music to my 1st Tivo, or transferring shows to my computer I never have a problem, the connection never drops. When using my 2nd Tivo I have so many problems, when transferring shows from the 2nd to the 1st the connection drops and I have to reboot the 2nd Tivo, also when transferring from the 2nd Tivo to my computer the connection drops and I have to reboot the Tivo - even though it says Wireless Signal Strength 90-100%
I could understand if I was using 2 different Wireless connectors, but, I'm not and I only have problems with the second Tivo - both have the same system software as well. I have no idea what the problem may be - does anyone know what could be causing this or anything I can try to get this working more stable?
