Tivo to Dish 322 via UHF

Hello Everyone,

I've looked through the forums and I can't really tell if my question has been answered before so please forgive me if I ask the question again.

I have a Dish 322 receiver that outputs to two TVs, one in the living room and the bedroom. I plan on buying a Tivo for the TV in the bedroom not for the one in the living room. The TV in the bedroom has a UHF remote to change channels on the TV.

From what I've read, the Tivo's use IR to change channels. This of course will not work from the bedroom. Is there a way to set up the Tivo be able to change the channels from the bedroom via UHF?

You cannot set it up with UHF. You can move the 322 to the bedroom to do what you want to do. Note that there is some irritating behavior when using the tivo with the 322... see the entry in this link (http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=128743).
