Just checked, they have raised there price $10, $35 to $45. :(
Ordered 1 on wed at $35 to use for a spare. :)
I've bought 2 of these in the last month and half, and both work fine (installed my own hds)
The refurb's for DTV have dust all over the mb's (had 2 so far from them).
The units from Weeknees look brand new! :up:

Still $35 on ebay, at least for now. A couple of months ago they were selling them for $30 on ebay.

That was the price on their web site.
Still a good deal if you know how to install a harddrive. :)

Understood. Just pointing out that Weaknees also sells them on ebay, and they are probably only going to be at the $35 price for a short time now.

Where can I buy one for $45? I checked Weakness site and could not find it on their site. Is this for a unit with no hard drive and DTV Card? Any other places to buy one cheap? Thanks.

i am selling philips dsr7000 on ebay for 50.00 buy it now and the bid starts at 10.00 and everything works but there is no access card for it

yes it's there but you have to click the link that is posted in "Directv R10 DVR with Tivo" right next to the $199 price it says "click here for even lower prices on other Directv DVR with 35-70 hours"
yes the price has been raised to $45


PS-ptvupgrade.com has the Philips DSR704(35 hour with Tivo) unit for $69, it comes with all cables, manuals but no access card
