Hi,
My SAT-T60's main hard drive is dieing causing repeated reboots ...
The first attempt to restore the back-up image to a another hard drive seemed to work but with only 35 hours on a 80 Gb HD. So I tried again with a 120 GB HD and expand using MFS 2.0 but it could not boot; it says, "Powering up ..." and reboot. I tried again with the 80 Gb HD without expand, it doesn't boot neither. When I dd the the backup image to a another drive, it has read errors.
1. Is the backup drive bad or flaky?
2. When restoring to another hard drive, do I have to format it first?
3. Does SAT-T60 have case/fan sensor? After the first time, I plug the restored drive back i without pluging the fan nor close the case.
4. In the worst case that the backup drive is bad, what else can be done?
5. Where can I get the Tivo Image?
