View Full Version : Ch 125 PPV and no phone?

We all know that you can order PPV through the web if you have no phone line connected but the movies on ch 125 seem to be an exception to this.

I tried to find a place on the web to order one of the movies (Blade Runner) and could not find it at all.

OF course ordering through the receiver is out as I have had no phone line for some time.

Any I deas? Or maybe something I missed?

If you can't do it on the web, maybe you can with a phone call to DirecTV. Of course, there is a service charge for phoned in PPVs. I'd call DirecTV anyway and ask why PPVs on 125 can't be ordered on line.

Okay, why didn't it work earlier?I went to the PPV page and it did not even show ch 125.

It did not occur to me to simply use the regular online guide as I have rarely even looked at it before. The TiVo guide is superior and trying to browse for future shows on line just had no appeal to me.

In fact it has been almost two years since the last time I even looked at the full ch guide on line.

I guess I have found a use for the online guide:
Find a future PPV using the TiVo guide then go to that time in the online guide to order.

This is only needed for those few PPVs that are not listed on the DTV PPV page.
