I recently upgraded my Series 2 with a single 200GB harddrive with TiVo image I got on eBay.
Installation and configuration went off without a hitch.
I did notice that my software version was 7.1b and my original drive was 7.2.
Also, I did not have all the extra games and utilities I had previously under Music and Photos but I figured they would reappear as the TiVo did it's daily download.
I manually connected and did a service download and it said it succeeded.
However, today it says I only have a few days left of programming and that I need to connect to the TiVo service now. I again did a manual connect again via my network...it went thru the steps and said it was successful.
It even shows a successful automatic connection the previous day.
But it STILL says I have 2 days of programming left AND it is still stuck on 7.1b.
So, I called TiVo tech support and explained the problem only to have the guy blow me off and say that because I "modified" my TiVo they could not help me.
This makes NO SENSE to me.
Can anyone offer me any advice on how to fix this?
