Hey all,
This is my first post here at this site.
I was wondering if someone could give some direction with Tivo.
I am wanting to start out my venture but was curious if I could use a Direct TV Tivo when I do not currently have Direct TV, I have cable.
I have an opportunity to get one from a friend and am curious if I do some "updates" with the unit if I would be able to use it.
I have done some "updates" with my xbox and now want to try my hand with tivo.
And I am wanting to network in other rooms as well, so should I try and stick with the same models and brand, or with that even matter.
