I have a new problem that has started since I upgraded from a single drive to a dual setup. Both drives are new. The primary is 160gb and the seondary is 120. I had some problems with the upgrade and ended up using the instantcake image to get up and running and mfsadd to add the second drive. If I had to guess, my original Tivo drive image is corrupt.
Today, I try to watch recordings, and got the following message. "The TiVo DVR was not able to record this program because there was no video signal on the channel. You may have been trying to record on a channel that you don't receive."
Well, I know this isn't true, because I already watched some of the episodes. They were recorded fine. I got a 15 minutes GSOD and all seemed well, but 5 minutes into a recorded program (on which I had gotten the earlier error), the thing freezes.
I've now been at the grey powering up screen for 15 minutes. Any ideas?
