Pbs Pledge Breaks [Text View]

I missed the last 10-15 minutes or so of a PBS Masterpiece Theatre because it was one of their pledge nights and they slugged in a pledge break that made the show run long. Does PBS inform the TV guide that TiVo downloads from when a show will run long because of pledge breaks? Or am I at their mercy?

No. Yes, sort of. Learning which shows need to be padded is part of the TiVo learning process.

My PBS affiliate (WTVS, Detroit), does inform Tribune to scheduled pledge drive over-runs, and the changes appear on my TiVo just fine.
