Replaced Hard Drive now it just resets

I replaced my hard drive on my HR10-250 because I was getting reboots and the picture would start freezing and a reset would help sometimes it would last a day or two and sometimes it would only take 10 minutes. Anyway I followed the instructions on Weaknees and after about 6 hours it said that it was done and successful but the new harddrive won't boot up it just reboots and starts all over after the intitial welcome screen. I tried setting the jumper to cable select and master both times it did the same thing. The hard drive is a Maxtor 300gb 16mb buffer Diamondstar I believe.

it is possible that you got one of the diamondmax (it's diamondmax not diamondstar) 10 drives that tivo doesn't like
