As I understand it the Swap File size is only needed for the GSOD, I have had many 300G TiVos running for over 1.5 years with 127m Swap file and never had a problem. I have the original software for each upgraded TiVo so if something bad did happened I could just re-format my disk (I would lose my recordings I know). Does that not handle the problem of Swap Size ? How often do you get GSOD and not have a bad hard drive (or one starting to go bad) ?
