Hi -
I bought my very first Tivo box two weeks ago at CompUSA and I love it. I activated it with the lifetime membership (just in time it seems too). I submitted for the $150 rebate on this box.
The terms of the $150 rebate are a little fuzzy since they say you have to commit to 1 year so I called the 800 number and asked if I signed up for lifetime would I still get the rebate. They said yes. Ok, so I am fine with the first box.
Now I want to add a second box to my account but not sure how to go about it the most economical way.
The rebate form states that there is a limit of two per household. So it sounds like I can get two boxes and get rebates on both?
Another term of the rebate is that a minimum one year service commitment is required. That is fine, but can I commit to one year of $6.95/month since it's my second box?
Another one of the fine print items is "Valid on new service contracts only." So if there is a limit of two on the rebate but it's good for new service contracts only how do you interpret what they means?
Thanks for your help!
