question about making a backup of a 2 drive system

simple question
my 240 tivo has dual drives. i should make a backup of it just incase something goes wrong.
now, lets say i make the backup:
(mount c: drive)
mfsbackup -f 9999 -6so /mnt/dos/tivo.bak /dev/hdb /dev/hdc

ok, now if i made a backup, would i only be able to load that backup onto a dual drive system? or, if one of the drives went bad and i only wanted to use a single drive, could i load this onto a single drive configuration?

Nopy,. you can use it on any single or dual drive setup, original (TiVo factory capacity of the image) or greater. The s option removes any added partitions.
