Well, I tried "mfsadd /dev/hda /dev/hdd -x" and it reported the correct time but when I installed it in the unit it would get to the second screen and restart. I checked the drives and the A drive was reported as failing checksum. Why I am not sure, which is why I am asking here. Right now I'm trying "mfstool backup -Tao - /dev/hdd | mfstool restore -s 127 -zxpi - /dev/hdb /dev/hda" though it reports the source drive as 39 hours and the expanded drive as 126 hours. It'll be a while before it finishes and I can test it out though I'm not sure what direction I should turn here. Any help would be appreciated.
UPDATE: It seems that the latter meathod gave the desired results after all. I now have 372 hours of capacity. It's working fine atm too. Of course I still don't understand why mfstool add didn't work.
