I recently purchased a Pioneer 810H. It has the 7.2.1-tak-01-2-275 software version on it. I have successully upgraded the drive using the Hinsdale How-To and the PTV CD. I also had to use the toshiba unlock to allow the tivo to see the new expanded size. I also have a USB network adpater working.
Next, I would like to enable telnet and install tivoweb. I tried using the sleeper ISO, but was unsuccessful. The tivo would just continue to reboot. I restored my backup image to the drive so I could get it working again. I have tried to find information on how to use the killhdinitrd method, but i've been unable to find any good information on how to do this. Has anyone successfully gotten telnet working on an 810H? Any help would be appreciated.
