I keep trying to log into TiVo's website but I cannot get in. They keep saying my email is not on file, which I know for a fact it is. Then if I go to other pages, I'm getting 'server request could not be compelted" error messages.
Has anyone else had trouble getting into the site? I'd e-mail TiVo but they don't do e-mail support.

I just tried to log in. I can't do it. I had a similar problem yesterday morning. I logged in to manage my account and got to the overview page. Then I clicked on one of the other options and got sent back to the log in page that wouldn't accept my log in information as valid. I tried a few times w/o success, then waited a half hour and everything was good again.

The site was updated. I just got in, "Change Billing to Lifetime" option has been removed.

What?!? There's no more lifetime? When did that happen? Why weren't we told?
 ;)

This has been a hot topic for at least the last week.
BTW, I can't log in either, or view the grid page.

Maybe he needed to be more explicit and use /sarcasm tags

For folks who can't log in, what error message are you seeing? Can you indicate the exact steps?
We apologize for the inconvenience, and the team is investigating.

I'm not sure if this is related, but now when I click on the "Activate or Upgrade" link I get:
"We're sorry, your account balance is past due. Before you can proceed, please update your credit card using the Change credit card function. Thank you."
How could this happen if my account billed via credit card??

ACraigL, we're trying to reproduce that error and cannot. Are you still experiencing it? If so, can you please e-mail with your e-mail address and the steps you are taking?
Slider10, is it possible your credit card is expired or overlimit? If you look at your Billing History, does any information explain what's going on?

Stephen, I checked the billing history but it's fine. I'm using a debit card and I just got paid yesterday w/ direct deposit. Also, I just upgraded to lifetime on Wed night. Could that be a holdup of sorts? I'm not sure.

Stephen,
Still getting the error. Just emailed you with more detail. Thanks.
Update: Seems swapping DVR names is bad... unless you've found and fixed the problem. I had to 2-step it as a one-time name swap did not work.
But it should. Thanks!

Slider10, ah, yes, if you just changed your billing option to Product Lifetime, it takes 24-48 hours to process and during that time you'll see the message you mentioned.
ACraigL, thanks, we're investigating swapping DVR names.

Heck, I went straight to the Web site, then to TCO, and I was logged in automatically (from cookies and FF password memory). Not a problem at all for me ;)

Stephen,
Thank you so much! You've just saved me a 30-min call to you guys. Rock on!
THIS is why I love you guys. :D

This behavior has been there for a looooong time. Not really a big deal if you know the workaround, but it can be very frustrating for someone trying to figure out why it wouldn't work.
