OK - I have both a Toshiba SD-H400 (Tivo with DVD player) and a standalone series 2 80 hour Tivo brand unit. The standalone Tivo is newly purchased and recently activated with lifetime service. Both units connect via broadband wireless.
Here's the question:
The Toshiba has Live365 and podcasts on the photos, music, and more menu. The new standalone Tivo does not. Both units show the same software revision.
When will these options show up on the new Tivo?
Is there some action required by me to enable these features?
Thanks.

This will sound stupid, cinsidering that both boxes are in the same house, but... I had a similar problem. My Toshiba SD-H400 had the new Yahoo stuff, podcast, etc.... My girlfriends' brand new 80 hour did not. I found it odd because my box had it first, yet we only live one town away from each other. I called Tivo and they said the reason is that they roll out the software over time, today they do some boxes, tomorrow they update more, etc etc... So basically they just hadn't gotten to hers yet, but her updates showed up on the Tivo about 4 days later. I'm sure this can't be the answer to your problem as they're both in the same house but it was all I could think of when I had a similar situation.

Thanks. I'm thinking that may be the case here too.
Both units show a software version of 7.2.1-oth-#########
The # sequence suffix at the end differs between the units.

The software version doesn't matter for the features you are talking about. They are enabled by TiVo, but as long as you have 7.x, you should get them (maybe it requires 7.1, I'm not sure) since its not a part of the software itself. I believe they have finished rolling out the online services features, so I am not sure why you wouldn't have it yet.

Maybe it has to be running 7.2.1 for more than a day or two? The standalone S2 is brand spanking new and has only been live for 48 hours or so.
