Does Directv do an automatic update?

I just upgraded my Hughes HDVR2 to a 120gig.I did it with the 3.1 version software.My question is will Directv or Tivo do an automatic upgrade to 6.2 at anytime for me?Thanks Ruben

Yes it should update automatically after it calls in a few times.

You could always force a call to see if it downloads the 6.2 software. When I upgraded my 160gb unit, it took over an hour for it to download and install the 6.2 software.
