A while back i upgraded my dvr40 to 447 hours. Is it possible to transfer the data on these drives to a new set of drives the way I transferd the data from my 40 to the 2 new drives. The reason i am asking is the desire to keep this 447 hours forever and the only way to do this at least the way i see it is to change the drives every couple of years as all HD's are destined to fail eventualy. Now I also of course can burn it all to dvd but the tivo interface is 1000 times better as i like the fact that Tivo keeps your place in every show you are watching (dvd only does this for each individual disk and if you turn the dvd player off your place is lost)
