Transfer of upgrade drive to another unit

I was hoping that someone could help me. I have a Hughes GXCEBOT that I upgraded a couple of years ago(added not replaced). I now have a HR10-250 that I would like to upgrade. Can I move the added drive from the GXCEBOT to the HR10-250? If so, are there instructions somewhere? Thank you for your advice.

You can use the drive in the HR10-250 but you'll lose whatever is on the drive. You can simply add it as a B drive to the existing 250GB A drive using the mfsadd command. However, if the drive is a couple of years old and has been used in another Tivo, chances are highly probable it won't be alive much longer. Your best bet would be to invest in a new drive for use in the HR10-250. Just remember to make a backup image of the HDTivo BEFORE you add the 2nd drive or you could be in a pickle if either drive dies later on.
