After the Pilot/Season Opener I was all for this show...now I don't know. Something seems off and I cannot place it. It's still on the SP, we'll see what next week brings.

Probably the filters on the cameras they used in Africa. ;)

Dennis Haysbert is miscast. Though really good casting for his wife.

I really like this show. Actually watched it live, something I've not done in a long time!
I liked how haysberts wife covered for him to the dr. Explained quite a bit on how they would keep him in the filed. Also, leaving the new guy back to answer fbi questions was quite ingenious. What I don't like, is that the wife is sleeping the with colonel. What the hell? On of his guys is out in the field risking his life for the country and the colonel is sneaking behind his back? Just not good vibes.
Keeper here.

I don't know why, but for some reason I found it terribly amusing to hear Dennis Haysbert saying "Don't shoot the white guy... don't shoot the white guy!" :D
As was waiting for one of the other guys to reply, "what are we, LAPD?" ;)

I gave up 2 episodes of Scrubs to record this. I hope that it will have been worth the sacrifice. It isn't on my list of "I'll watch it live" so I'll take a look at it tonight. I heard good things about the pilot though.

Its funny, while watching it I started thinking him and RP should change roles..Patrick seems kinda wasted with what they're giving him to work with. But then again, no male actor on this show so far seems to have much to do. Outside of the three leads I don't have an impression of any of them yet.
I really had high hopes for this show. The creater of the best show on tv hooking up with the creater of Heist...it seemed like a perfect marriage. But Mamet has written both episodes, and I'm no longer so sure this is going to work. There were so many things wrong with the plot in this one. It looks like this show is one that you have to check your brain at the door because its not going to make much sense if you think about it. And with Mamet and Ryan involved, I'm frankly bewildered by that.

Okay...I've looked on tv.com and imdb.com and I cannot find the answer to this (and of course I deleted the episode already).
Who played the psychiatrist? He looked so familiar to me. Former football player maybe?

Though really good casting for his wife.I actually like him in this role. It only took me a week to get the Allstate commercials out of my head. What I don't like, is that the wife is sleeping the with colonel. What the hell? On of his guys is out in the field risking his life for the country and the colonel is sneaking behind his back? Just not good vibes.Stuff like that happens in the real world too.

Not uncommon in the military. Ive had a commanding officer that married one of the sailor's wife.

If the one guy had no idea his team had left, will they be allowed to talk about the mission with him when he gets back?

Yes, but then they'll have to kill him.
And he'll have to defend himself, so the entire cast will probably end up dead.
Hey, that would be a great series finale! They should just shoot it, and then run it whenever the show gets cancelled!
(I oughta be a network executive, I'm so smart!)
(Can you tell that what's on my desk isn't exactly enticing me this morning?)

I wish they would bring back the Agency. I guess they show repeats on that one HD channel but I dont get it. I this show isn't much better than that. I guess if you want to see the wives perspectives it is, but not from an action part.

there's a kind of 'wisteria lane' feel to the housewives side of the story and I found it totally uninteresting.
I also don't buy Haysbert's wife as the wise old den mother either.

.
I never have watched that other show but from the little I know of it, I drew that comparison the first time we saw the exterior of the homes on base.

What bothered me was the prsioner they captured was STRAPPED down in the plane and then was able to jump from the plane at the end. Stupid. A unit that is so smart and trained let a prisoner jump from their plane. PLEASE!
