Scrubs vs. Sons & Daughters

Anyone else having this problem? This is with a 2-tuner DirecTiVo (HR10-250).

I can't record the 8:00 Sons & Daughters because of some screwy schedules for Scrubs. Here's what TivoWebPlus says when I check the conflict:
Conflicts
Program Date Time Channel
Scrubs 3/21 7:59 pm- 8:30 pm 2-1 KPRCDT
Scrubs 3/21 8:29 pm- 9:00 pm 2-1 KPRCDT

Why isn't Tivo smart enough to figure out this isn't a conflict!! And are there any better resolutions than recurring manual recordings from 8-9 for each channel?

If I'm reading this right both tuners will be recording channel 2-1 from 8:29 t0 8:30.
Just make the second Scrubs start at 8:30.
Problem solved.

Yeah, that is the solution...the only problem is I don't control the guide data. I just setup a Season Pass for Scrubs, and let the Tivo do its thang.

But because of a one minute overlap 8:29-8:30, the Tivo won't record the entire Sons & Daughters scheduled 8:00-8:30. I wish there was a way to tell the Tivo to start the second Scrubs a minute late to resolve the conflict.

For the last few weeks, the 2nd Scrubs has been a repeat. Try setting your Scrubs SP to First Run Only.

And if you want to catch the rerun as well, just have it add 30 min to the end.

Ooohhh...you know what...I think this was my bad. I had the Season Pass set to start one minute early. :o

Not sure why, none of my other ones are that way. Thanks for the replies, sorry to waste your time!! :)

I had mine like that to. If you start recording at 8:30 you will miss about 5 seconds of the beginning. That's why I started it early.
I have heard the networks sometimes do this to get Tivo users to tune in live. I'm not sure if that is true or not.
