Hi there, first of all I must say a huge thank you to all of you here on the board, talk about a mine of information!
I recently completed a few upgrades for friends, with help from folks on this board, I've now become the go-to guy for friends and family who want the TiVos I persueded them to buy upgraded! :-)
My question is this...
Is there a way to test a hard drive that I write an image to to see if it's valid without the TiVo present? That way I can image the new drive and send it on it's way without having to have my old man send his TiVo to me, then me ship it back.
Are there any tools for this?
