Ok, since the show is terrible this season, I guess I'll just add a weekly Lennyism.
"I wish her brains werr bigger then her boobs"
At least they did fire the right person again this week.

Andrea certainly raised the bar for the rest of her team. No one else can go into the boardroom and blame Brent. The first question Trump will ask is why was Brent not a problem for Andrea.
Tarek said in his interview that he wanted to do Astroturf and Theresa had shot down the idea. Why didn't he mention that when was being beaten up about the golf course? Of course he could have said it and they edited it out.

I do not particularly like Tarek, but in this case, he definitely wanted to come-up with a theme and have a better turf but was shot down. So I was also shocked that he didn’t bring it up in the boardroom. Of course, he might have said something but it was edited out…
But you got to love Lenny’s attitude (in a very dismissive voice): “Fire them both”. :D And I was just waiting for the “boobs comment” from him ;) . He is one of the main reasons why I am still watching this show.

I loved how every time they showed Brent he was stuffing his face with food.
It was nice to see such a different job done by the teams. Andrea's team nailed the assignment, the other was a total disaster.
I felt sorry for the comic, she was SO wrong for that crowd. You would need a Tim Allen type of comic for that crowd. And I can't think of any car dealer that would be impressed with a horse and buggy.

my guess is that the 'Brent eating' thing was a result of editing. I hope he is PM and kicks ass! :D

I loved how every time they showed Brent he was stuffing his face with food.
Actually that kind of pissed me off.
So they got such great buzz last year with Doofus Marcus. At least they showed us Marcus acting like an Ass (or sitting on it), bumbling words, etc. In the episodes so far they really haven't shown that with Brent. We (or I) don't remember seeing when the other apprentice candidates formed their hatred for him. (Exception with the DA lady that got fired last week). This started in the very first episode with "Barbie PM" rolling her eyes at everything Brent said. Did I miss something?
That scene spoken of above was made for laughs. And I guess it made it's intended mark. 'Laugh at the fat guy. Look all he does is eat!' Everytime Trump sees Brent, he makes a comment on how no one likes him or that he's fat. That's just mean and childish. /rant
Trump will keep Lenny around for a little while, for amusement purposes, but you know he'd never hire him.
Tarek has a bullseye on his back and I don't think he deserved it this week.
Has anyone noticed Trump is getting much more personal in the boardroom? His banter last night with Theresa about her 'looking different' bordered on sexual harrassment IMO. Not really, but with the comments about Brent and last night's comments to Theresa, it seems like Trump is getting more full of himself (if that is even possible).
Before all of you GUYS think I'm an overweight, feminist, I'm not. These things just stood out to me last night. My son came in from watching it in the other room at the same time and said the same thing (about Brent). Maybe I need to take a step back and realize this is just a reality show...just a reality show...just a reality show. :D :D :D

I am glad that Theresa left the show. She should have thought about who was responsible for the mistakes rather than who pissed her off. Bryce was just as reponsible for the golf screw up as Tarek was, but because she liked him better she chose Tarek. Charmaine (wrong spelling) would also have been an excellent scapegoat, but in the end I am glad Theresa got booted.
Eventually Synergy will lose and Brent will claim that part of the reason for the loss is that they are only giving him busy work, and he will be right in Trumps eyes. Synergy needs to use Brent for creativity working with another person who can keep him focused. Some of his ideas are great in the brainstorming sessions, but they get casted away because it is his idea and it needs to be flushed out (I am referring to the first ep with the brainstorming of getting people to Sam's club), had they not dismissed his ideas outright the team dynamic would be a bit different.

ok...so do you guys think that the Trump business lecture segment gave away who would get fired? I can't seem to link them. It was about being flexible.
The comment he made about her looking different was definitely over the top. And...did you see her face light up. almost like..."oh my god, he noticed me".
Oh, and during the part before he explained the task, did anyone catch the comment he made to the woman building manager(?)? "Thanks Sweetheart" and she replied "yes mr. trump". this guy is king of his world isn't he!
For some reason I don't htink Carolyn woud stand for remarks like those, right?

At least so far this year, Trump seems to be fairly consistent. If you are the PM and bring in people who made mistakes, those people get fired. If you bring in someone because you don't like them and try to use the "unmanageable" card, you might as well say goodbye.
Last week it was Brent. This week it was Lenny.

Lenny is hysterical!! He absolutely cracks me up. I play poker with guys like him all the time and they crack me up too. :D
He'll never get the win, but he is generally spot on in his "big game" analysis. HI sabrasiveness, however, will keep him out of the top.

And what about those models? I mean GEEZUS! Why would you let them stand there without anyone who knew about the car? That whole team deserved to be fired!
and IMO they weren't all that........
I agree about the editing with Brent -- the whole food montage seemed totally fake. And I like how all the previews focus on him now -- "what will Brent do next?" In fact, he doesn't seem to have done too much wrong, he just got off on the wrong foot with some of these people and got ostracized.
As for Lenny, I've kind of liked him in the past, but last night he also seemed to go over the top. I can kind of see his point about the two guys not aprticipating in the task, but the fact is he screwed up the generator issue and should have fessed up -- it wasn't that big a deal, and he wasn't going to get fired over it, so just accept it and move on. He is just too closed-minded -- anyone who disagrees with him in the slightest, including PMs, he ignores and yells at. He may be right a decent amount of the time, but that still doesn't excuse that behavior. I would love to see him talk that way to Trump!

I hope Lenny will get to be a project manager. I have a feeling that he will be horrible as a PM and won't be able to lead anyone. I love his commentaries, and it is real easy to point a finger at what is wrong, but we now know that he dosn't see his own flaws.

It seems like people on this show consistently fail to realize what they need to do in terms of going to the boardroom. Be it as a project manager picking those to go in with you, or as another player serving up those most responsible for the loss and convincing the project manager to make sure they go in to the room.
It seems too often these decisions are made based simply on disliking someone and not on actual task performance. I am not sure why these allegedly intelligent people are so bad at identifying why a particular task failed. Donald Trump is not a complex guy. He is fairly easy to read, and I think you could assure yourself of breezing fair in the game just by playing him properly. All too often though people make bad moves.
Starting off blaming Lenny from the get-go was just a dumb move. It was not even clear if that was his responsibility or not, and regardless the fact that someone else had to spend 3 minutes on the phone doing it did not impact their ability to be succesful in the task. But you start off blaming one of the people least responsible for your failure and just go downhill from there.
What I don't get is where is the oversite? Having managed a lot of projects, people and businesses in my life, I do not get some of the management tactics people used. She claimed she liked to delegate. That is a fine strategy. The problem is if you delegate everything then it is your responsibility to follow up and make sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to be doing in a way you find acceptable. Perhaps it is the editing, but you rarely see project managers following up on what others are doing. It all becomes a washing the hands of others and hoping someone else fails so you can blame them.
Brent seemed to accept his new role as a do nothing, though. He seemed content to just fade into the background. Probably not a bad strategy for him right now. Although he does seem to take the forefront next week.

Until visiting here last week, I didn't even know there was a new season already going. Have they made any adjustments to the gameplay? I understand the general idea behind the show and did watch previous seasons but even Survivor had to change things up a bit to stay "fresh". Men vs. Women and Book Smarts vs. Stree Smarts has been done, what other combinations would there be? Ivy League vs. State (funded) Schools?
was it just me, or did Theresa's chest look anywhere from a C to a EEE cup last night? One minute she's busting out, then she almost looks flat. I was getting very distracted...

It was very odd.

Whose bright idea was it to put the truck on a spinning platform? A car you want to show off but don't let people touch, you put on a spinning platform with models. A car you want to show off but let people touch and explore, you don't put on a spinning platform and you don't need models. It was pretty funny watching them trying to follow the truck and try to open the trunk, which the model had no clue how to do.

Did the winning team have any idea of the Yuuuge liability of letting drunk (didn't they serve drinks too?) car dealers race golf carts (Zero safety equipment visible) around the park?
Of course, it was less Vice Presidential than letting them popping a few rounds from a shotgun!!! :p :p

Not asking for permission to shoot was pretty stupid. On anyone's land but your own, even a non genius would think 'hmmm, I wonder if that's legal on someone elses property?" Talk about no attention to detail. Lenny, while definitely not politically correct, at least needs to find another angle. He got in his head from the start that since the 2 boys weren't there, he wouldn't 'be there' either. Stupid should have gone to temple with them and that would be the end of the story. But he choose to make it an issue and looked bad for it.
The eating thing was certainly edited. I didn't notice but I wonder if it was even all in the same week? (clothing) As far as the comedian, is it really THAT much to get someone who isn't even famous? I know it was edited but I doubt she was on more than 15-30 min. Wish we knew for sure. Just our 2 min. was very painful. PMs fault for not yanking her sooner after hearing some of that stuff come out of her mouth. Much better to yank her and look awkward than continually offend.
I also wonder why they didnt do it inside like last year? Rain would have killed both events. Not knowing 2 vs 4 wheel drive was pretty comical. That kind of thing would stand out on a sheet of paper even if you didnt know what it meant.

I think in that yellow thing she had on in the beginning she looked terrible and out of place. while it stinks that everyone wears black usually, sometimes it just doesn't pay to stick out. (will i regret saying that?)

Caught up on the show Tuesday night - just love my TIVO!
A number of things were done poorly during this episode by the show and the candidates.
The Show
I was amazed at all the shots of Brent eating. They made it look as though he didn't care about anything else. They could have followed any of the others and done the same thing. I tend to think he did a great deal more work than just put out trash cans.
Everytime Trump sees Brent, he makes a comment on how no one likes him or that he's fat. It was very poor for Trump to ridicule Brent in front of the others. I expected him to continue on with 'We only put you on the show so we could make fun of you.'
Theresa - Girl with huge chest - let's make sure she gets lots of screen time and definitely shots from the side. This will be good for ratings. Par for the course for NBC.
Shotguns - at what point would someone from the show step in and say - Hey guys, maybe you should check with someone before doing that.
Candidates
Comic - Did anyone ask her what kind of material she did? Oh your material is vulgar and uncouth. This will be great! After the first crude joke, it would have been very appropriate for someone to step up, politely kick her off the stage, apologize, and continue on.
Shotguns - Idiots. I can't believe they didn't ask someone at the park about that. Did they even know what was on the other side of the lake?
Models - These girls should have just leaned against the cars and never said a word. Why would the the team trust someone else with passing on such important information. "Q. Does it come with a 4 wheel drive option? A. Huh? I'll have to ask someone." To me that question was even dumb coming from a car salesman - wouldn't he already know?
Staging - I'm surprised both teams spread things out so much. It looked like nothing was going on. Tighten it up and it looks like 'a lot of stuff is happing right here'.
sorry, just felt like ranting this morning...

I disagree. The losing team didn't have a Plan A. The winning team had a Plan A (skeet shooting), and had to come up with a Plan B (golf cart racing) when their Plan A was canceled.

During Trumps little "lecture", he indicated that you 'had to have a plan B'. Theresa's team had one plan - a lame one at that. And when things didn't go well (models, comic, golfing), they had nothing else to fall back on.
The winning team had a plan B (or came up with it fast). That's the team Trump was talking about in the 'lecture'.

The differences for this season.
Trump picked 2 PMs and they picked their own teams.
No exemptions for being the winning PM.
So far, there's been no interaction with the companies they're marketing for.
The similarities.
Losing PMs play the "this person cannot be managed and demanded all my attention" card.
Trump fires the PM for bringing people into the boardroom based on an emotional decision, or he fires the person who won't shut up in the boardroom when he's trying to fire the PM who brought somebody into the boardroom based on an emotional decision.

My wife explained the magic of Theresa to me.
When they met with Trump to get their assignment, she was wearing fake boobs without a push-up bra. She had them placed underneath, which would be the correct position if worn with a push up bra to bring them up to the right height and present "volume" out the top.
Problem was, no push-up bra to "bring them up" to the right height, and the wrong shirt worn so that the volume wasn't shown anyway.
Make sense? lol, she had to explain it to me several times before I finally understood why they looked wrong in the first place (they were too low).
That aside...yikes, glad she's gone.

Anyone notice that Trump must watch the tapes or be otherwise informed before the boardroom? Theresa's first bad decision was to get such grossly huge breasts. And for those that think those weren't fake, she would have to be a freak of nature to be that skinny and have boob that big. Those were bigger than DD's. In the boardroom you could see her ribs very clearly. She's obviously skin and bones and saline under those clothes. She might look like a Barbie doll in clothes but I'm guessing its not a pretty sight naked.
On a side note, who was the person that ran into the bathroom to cry because Brent wasn't fired? That person is not winning whoever she was. Anyone that cries on this show is definitely not strong enough to lead a company.

Although I wouldn't doubt that Trump watches some tapes, it it probably just like Tribal Council on Survivor. Jeff Probst probably asks a ton of questions and knows when he has hit a sore spot and follows-up on it. In the editing we only see the "best" parts.
Let me say, I could tolerate Lenny up until this episode, but now I can not stand him. He seems to have the attitude of "not my problem" about everything that he is not directly responsible for. I can't wait for him to be PM as he will have to take responsility for his performance.
