Howard Stern is going to be on Letterman tonight. Supposedly, he went off very badly on Les Monvies, who sued him only two weeks ago.
Either CBS is going to air it, or they are going to force Letterman to edit it. Either way, should be interesting to see.
Yep. I hear Dave kept him on for 3 segments, which he never does. I set my TiVo.

Sure they're suing him but there's no reason they still can't make money off him!

They're not advertising him.
Durnig the shows, they're advertising "Carrie Underwood and Sidewalk Idol."

Using Moonves's network to skewer him was fun to watch. Letterman said he and Moonves have never been happier. I wonder if that's going to change now.

Did Stern wear that I hate Moonves T-shirt he was talking about? I think I'll try to find a torrent for this show.

Just watched it. Almost word for word what he's been saying on his show. Kind of interesting watching Letterman's reactions, though.

No, nothing new - but kind of shocking to see Howard blast Leslie on his very own network. Les didn't have the balls to hush Howard when he signed the Sirius deal, and doesn't have the balls (authority?) to silence Stern and Letterman today. Funny.

Not that he didn't have the balls... He signed off on Howard talking about Sirius in order to get the primo ad sales... and it worked, he sold out the ad time, not only for his show, but packaged it with ad time throughout the day, so Viacom was making bank off Howard. And alot of that was due to the fact Howard was allowed to speak frankly about satellite. They just weren't allowed to say the name, "Sirius". Then he comes in during Howard's last week and compliments him on such a great job, then he sues him for doing what they allowed him to do.
As for the Letterman appearance, as Howard has been saying... Leslie was in a lose-lose situtation. Once Letterman booked Howard, and refused to cancel his appearance, Leslie was screwed. If he strong arms Letterman into canceling Howard, he looks like a tool. If he edits the show to make it more Leslie-friendly, he looks like a tool. If he leaves it alone, Howard makes him look like a tool.
