I need the help of people who are better than I am at this kind of thing, and I think that's you folks. I spent the last hour searching the Web and can't find any information on this.
I have a Series2 SA TiVo and everything works just fine. It controls my TV (RCA) and my Cable box via IR (Scientific Atllanta).
However, I just bought a DVD/Home Theater system from Insignia (Best Buy makes the Insignia brand by contracting third parties). I can not find any codes that work for Insignia in the Remote Control settings screen (Part 2 for A/V Volume and mute). I looked around the Web and can't figure out who makes this Insignia system, and the few search results I did find about Insignia were all about programming Insignia TVs with the TiVo remote.
Can someone please help? This Insignia system is so small, powerful, compact and cool looking that I can't bear to go buy a different brand, but I can't get my wife to use more than one remote. And for those about to suggest a third party universal remote, forget it - she took a long time to get used to the TiVo remote, and a new one is out of the question (Home Theater System and Wife).
Someone please help!! Thanks in advance.
