TiVo Wireless G - Sooooo Slow

I have 3 TiVo's (Series 2 - 40 & 80 and a Toshiba DVD). All have been working fine on a wireless network since the Home Option has been available. All were using a Linksys Wireless adapter. It worked great but it was slow to transfer.

A couple of months a go I ordered 3 TiVo Wireless G adapters. Installed them - no problems...and dramatic speed increase.

But after a couple of weeks the following has occurred:

- Every week or so I have to unplug the adapter(s) to reboot because they fall off the network
- Even more annoying: the transfer speeds have dipped beyond belief. A 1 hour show would take around 1 hour to transfer using the old Linksys B adapters. A 1 hour show would take around 30 mins to transfer with the new TiVo G adapters. Now a 1 hour show could take 6 to 8 hours to transfer!!!

I switched my Linksys router to a Linksys WRT54GX4 recently but I believe the slow transfer issue was happening long before the switch.

Any ideas?

The size if the hard drives is really irrelevant. The information that may be of use in diagnosing problems is the model #
