Want to show photo's on my TV using TIVO

Trust me, I'm not a technical person. So make this easy. I seem to understand that there is a way to show the digital photo's that I have taken and saved to my desktop computer on my TV using my wireless networked TIVO. I understand that I hve to download the TIVO to go software to my desktop. So far, I'm getting it. But my desktop does not have a DVD player, and I think that may cause a glitch in this. Can somebody help enlighten me?

Not having a DVD player on your computer shouldn't make a difference either way. Here's a couple articles at tivo.com to help you get started:

Install Tivo Desktop software and open Tivo Desktop.
Click on Music and Photos on the top left side of the window.
Click on the "Photos" tab.
Click on the "Add Photos" button.
Navigate to the folder that contains your photos, then click the ADD button.

When you go to your Tivo, select "Music, Photos, and More". You should see the folder that you just selected as one of the options. It's that or it says something like "Photos on (your PC name)".

As for the DVD - I don't know what the matters. Just make sure that the photos you want to view are copied in a folder on your PC's hard drive. That is the folder you have to add to the Tivo server.

Hope that makes sense. If you were able to connect a wireless Tivo this should be a snap.
