I bought R10 back in Nov, about 4-5 months ago from GoodGuys before the store went out of business. Now the red record light on the receiver doesn't come on. It's impossible to know if DVR is recording a certain program unless you turn on the TV and see the now playing list.
A) Is this something I can easily fix ?
B) Since it's a DirecTV DVR (meaning directv makes it ?) and it is less than 6 months old, can I ask DTV to replace it under warranty ? (keep in mind the store where I bought is no more). How long is the manufacturer's warranty anyways ?
