I have just had DirecTV installed but they no longer use TiVo so they installed their own unit which is difficult to use.
I am looking for an R10 TiVo to replace what they installed. Where can I get one?
Thanks

Try a local retailer, weeknees.com, valueelectronics.com .
Good luck they are getting real hard to find!

You should have specified to DTV that you wanted a unit with Tivo not their DVR. I did that last week. I'd call DTV and see if you can swap theirs for a DTIVO.

I am calling them now, did they swap yours? Their DVR is so user unfriendly

As of earlier this week, the Salem, NH Wal-Mart had two R-10's sitting on the shelf.

Good luck they are getting real hard to find! You are right, I am very glad that I bought two new Hughes SD-DVR80s from ValueElectronics.Com in January and February. And what is even better, the Highes SD-DVR80 are better built (larger quieter fan) than the three Hughes HDVR2s I bought in October of 2003, when they first started selling for $99.

The DirecTV DVR (TiVo or otherwise) is for use only with DirecTV. I'm not sure what you meant by "code or something"? Does the panset box refer to the BUD?
