Just called Directv because my commitment was over. They offered me a $5.00 discount for 3 months. Otherwise I can quit whenever I want. I was looking for a premium package at a discount but no such luck. Oh well.. $15 bucks is a nice meal somewhere..

Cable just offered me $30 off for 3 months and a check for $200 if I give them 1 reciever and card (I have to cancel anything or commit to anything with them). $5 discount for 3 months, boy DTV dosnt want to lose you as a customer!

Im suprised thats all they gave. I call retentions and just asked for "any offers for current customers" (i have no commitment) and they gave me Showtime and Starz free for 6 months.

I am on my second offer of free showtime. first was for 3 months, now it's for 2 months. I sure would like to get HBO at a discound... can't seem to get them to offer anything like that

I had trouble with an install so I called retention. She offered me $10 off my bill for 6 months. It sure helped my feelings!
