Lately, the on screen guide of our DTivo R10 has been really slow at scrolling up and down. What causes this and is there anything I can do to help speed it up? It's painfully slow trying to scroll to see what's on.

Are you using the grid guide or the TiVo guide?

I believe it is currently set to grid guide.

Change it over to the Tivo guide as it is *much* faster.

Have you tried re-booting? That may sound silly, but, believe it or not, it really often is the cure of "flookiness" with computer-like devices.

Just unplug it for 30 seconds or so, plug it back in, and let it go through the re-booting process. (It will take a little while).

See if that doesn't do the trick.

I rebooted about a week ago to move some equipment around and didn't notice any change in the speed of scrolling through the "grid".

It's normal - the guide is just slow.
