Season Pass Recording Reruns of David Letterman This Week

Hi,

For some reason Tivo is recording Late Show with David Letterman reruns. I have my Season Pass set to record first run shows only but Tivo recorded last nights show which was a rerun. Any one else had this problem?

Yea, same problem. It does not indicate 'repeat' in the description of the show. That is most likely what is causing this.

Go to Now Playing, then Select an episode, then hit Info.

What comes up is a screen of supplemental information for the show. Of most interest is Original Air Date. For Monday's Letterman it said 3/6/2006. So this means the program info is telling TiVo that it's a new episode. However, as we know, it was a repeat.

Note that, for all I know, the menu structure and button names may vary somewhat between models. Above is for my R10.

Also, not all shows have an Original Air Date.
