IT Will NOT work on DTiVos and it never will.
As far as worth it: For me a resonding NO, even if it were available I can not conceive of any reason for another piece of fluff like this. Once your TiVo is properly set up the need for this kind of thing is near zero.
I cannot remember the last time there was actually a major improvement but there sure has been a lot of this good sounding fluff.
I would not pay $5.00 a year much less $5.00 a month for a service I might need once in a 12 month period. TV is just NOT that important.

I certainly agree. But, if my next job has a bunch of travel I will be checking into hacking may boxes and instaling the zipper so I can schedule from the road.
Other than that, I really don't see any need to be able to schedule my DirecTiVo from anywhere other than my couch :) .

Not that I have 6.2 laying around anywhere, but why wouldn't I just use the web browser in my phone and program it from there?

Just seems like another sad example of Tivo adding features that most people just won't care too much about!

I don't have a cell phone, but I would sure like it if I could access my Directv with Tivo DVR from a website like regular tivo users can.
 DirecTv doesn't seem to be moving forward in the directions I want them to move as far as giving me the tools to do more with my DVR.
I mean look at Tivo with their Tivo To go, their website allows you to access your DVR (or at least I think they do), and now this cell phone access. DirecTV just can't keep up, or they don't want to keep up, and I am kind of getting fed up. I think it is ridiculous that they cause people to hack equipment so that they can network machines in their home, which by the way I don't ..I just simply do without this feature, hence my frustration.

Now if Tivo was building a DVR for Verizon FIOS TV... that would be news!
