ETA on intel-mac compatible TIVO desktop software?

the latest version of TIVO desktop for mac isn't compatible with the current generation of intel-based macs. the user preference pane refuses to open. is there an ETA on an updated universal binary version?

anyone heard anything??

don't quote me on this, I'm running off my not-so-good memory ;-}

I believe TiVo was aiming for mid to late 2006, when Apple had originally said they were releasing the Intel-based Macs.

Then Apple started releasing them in January, catching all the developers by surprise. So, they may have kicked things up a little in response... mid 2006 would be my guess.

According to TiVoPony they're testing something right now that should be available in a month or so.

Has anyone tried to run Windows TD in the Windows emulator for PowerPC Macs running in PowerPC emulation mode on the new Intel Macs?
