HR10-250 and 5 LNB Dish

DirecTv is installing the 5 LNB dish on Weds. I have 2 HR10-250's on which I currently receive my local NY channels throught DirecTv, not OTA. The CSR told me that the HR10's would work just fine with the new dish. Will I still be able to receive my NY locals in MPEG2?

At least until DirecTV moves everything to MPEG4. That probably won't happen for several years.

I'm curious, if you 2 working HDtivos, why are you getting a new dish?
