Can I have Comcast regular cable and use TIVO??

I wanted to order Comcast regular cable. Can I still use the TIVO? Does it have to be only digital cable???

You can simply use TiVo's internal tuner so the answer is yes. In fact it works better than trying to control a seperate cable box.

Are you talking about a TiVo, or a DirecTiVo? If it is a DirecTiVo (An integrated box that is a DirecTV tuner and TiVo powered DVR) it will not work with cable at all. If it is a standalone TiVo it can work with basic cable using the tuner in the box as OLdDog states.
