Had to reboot my HDVR2, and when it turned back on, I got a green screen that says a severe error has occured and to leave the receiver plugged in and connected to the phone line for the next 3 hours. Should I really do this, or just go and get another hard drive?

I left it on over night, and when I got up this morning, everything SEEMS fine. Should I just ignore this, or start shopping for a new hard drive?

Hard to say .... it might have healed itself (the "green screen" is Tivo's way of repairing its file system. So the real question is what caused the file system corruption? It could have just been a one-time fluke, so keep your fingers crossed. But if you have valuable recordings, you better watch them quick just in case the drive dies.
