Unable to switch between live buffers

Long time lurker, first time poster. I like being able to switch back and forth between the live buffers. I used to be able to do this by pressing the "live tv" button on the remote. Now when I press the "live tv" button, the HR10-250 pulls up the guide instead. I know each tuner is still working, as I can watch one channel while something is being recorded on another. I hope this is not a dumb question. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a way I can fix it? Thanks in advance for any help.

IIRC, this happens once in a while and a reboot fixes it. As a work around, I think the down arrow also switches tuners.

This can happen if you use an old TiVo remote, the type without a Guide button (Live button brings up guide). I think the sequence to get Live on the HR10 to bring up the guide is TiVo button then Live button (using old remote).
You can reset this behavior as DavidS stated by rebooting or using the HR10's remote and press TiVo then Live.

Thanks for the quick response. My remote does have a separate guide button. I will try the pusing the TiVo followed by the Live buttons, and if that doesn't work I will simply reboot. Thanks

Press the Directv button, then the live tv button, and things will go back to normal.

Picking "Watch Live TV" from the main menu will also fix the problem.
