HR10-250 w/o access card

I got a 2nd used hr10-250 with no access card... I have a newer access card activated in the hd receiver it is replacing. Can I use it in the HR10-250? If not, can I use a DirecTV 4 access card that has never been activated?

maybe possible but directv can be picky about activating cards. they may he haw around and tell you they are required to send another one. but if your lucky they may ativate one of them for you. only they can tell ya for sure.

Just tell them the P4 card came with the used receiver you got, they will re-marry it to the receiver upon activation, unless they changed policy on March 1st.
