Looks like another issue with 81. At least one other person has reported this in the other 81 thread.

Yep, scheduled recordings now say KCBSDT without a listed station number.

I have a similar problem with CBSE (80). I look in the channel guide and that channel is missing. I have all channels selected for favorites and channels I receive, so that isnt the issue. I have only had the receiver for two days, and thought that it was still receiving data, however, now reading these posts, I think that I may have a similar issue

Happening to me. No guide data on 81. Don't know what to do as I don't get OTA.

I just spoke to one of those clueless CSR guys at D* and he hasn't heard of this problem. Well this is the second time in a month CBS has been changed. The CSR guy said that CBS controls this and are responsible if there is an issue. He told me to unplug the unit and wait 30 min. I am doing it now, but don't have much hope anything will be resolved.

Do you get the SD CBS channel on 381? If so, you can either use that for now or set up some manual recordings for 81. Of course that would just be a workaround until it gets fixed.

Well, seeing how it just happened, they may not have had many reports yet.

I could never understand the logic of the 'unplug for x minutes' 'fix. You pull the plug and it's dead. Leaving it sit for 10 seconds or 30 minutes makes no difference. The unit (i.e. main board and hard drive) will quickly discharge the power supply in seconds.

Actually, for me this is the second time in a month I have had a problem with CBS HD. They keep changing the channel caption. This requires me to reenter all my SPs for that channel. I am not liking it at all.

This is not the same problem. At least it does not appear to be. Last time it was a change in station ID and not guide data disappearing. I suppose it's possible that the last time when they changed the ID the guide data also disappeared for a while, but unless it happened in the middle of the night, no one noticed or reported it (guide data).

At 6:45, the guide data is back.

It looks like is WAS the same problem as before, my SPs are all screwed up again.

*sigh*

Problem confirmed here as well. I had no guide data for 81 CBSW. I forced a daily call and now I have partial data, but the data I have seems worthless for two reasons:

1. Even if I can find a program in the guide, my season passes don't see it. If I go to a season pass and select "View upcoming episodes" it doesn't show a program I see in the guide.

2. I recently reprogrammed all of my SP to be "81 CBSW". Last night I added a bunch more SP for "81 CBSW". Today they are all changed to "CBSW". Is the channel still "81 CBSW" or is it changed back to "CBSW"? I can't tell because the only way I know how to check this is outlined in Issue #1, which isn't working.

Dear Tivo and Directv: What the f*ck?
Sincerely Yours, Arbys_Night

It stems from the same problem. CBS is changing its tag. I redid all my SPs 2 weeks ago and to 81 CBSW, now mine reads KCBSWDT. Still no guide data even after a reboot and forced call. I am doing a manual record by channel and time so as to cover my SPs, but I hope they dont keep doing this.

Last night, when I selected a show to record (in LA) on chnl 81 from the guide, the TiVo recorded 2-1 instead. Wrong, but close enough as I do get that. Not sure it is a tag issue as much as it is D* just sending us bad guide data. Actually had a decent CSR last night (2nd level) who understood the issue, or at least didn't call me nutz when I explained it.

The chnl is correct now in the SP, however nothing is set to record yet. Hopefully with the next update...

What I don't understand is if the SPs can change by themselves to a different station ID (i.e. all of mine now say KCBSWDT) when the data is wrong, why can't they change back after the ID is fixed?

I am going to change the specific shows just for the next few days and see if the SPs go back to normal. I'll try rebooting too just for good measure.

The SPs I left alone, and it did eventually return to the correct listing (81 CBSW) however it took a reboot of the box before the SPs started to actually work. (I would look in the upcoming episodes and it wouldn't list the shows on 81.)

Do you mean last week or this time? I just rebooted and they stayed the same. I'll check again when i get home from work.

Sorry, yes I mean from last night. I was worried about my CBS Thursday lineup, and after the restart the SPs finally reflected all chnls.

As for having to wait to get home, Since D* seems to have decided to never release any TiVo updates, I find the Slingbox works great for me to control both my HR10-250 and my SAT-T60 from off site. (I do need to use the "Up Arrow" control to switch to 480.)

Last night Letterman on CBSW HD wasn't showing up in the SP (all the other showings on SD or CBSE HD were showing up). There was guide data, so I set up a new one. It still didn't show up in the new SP (but all the other episodes on other channels did)!

I must've deleted one of the two SPs (although I don't remember doing so). Regardless, this morning when I checked the remaining one had picked up the CBSW HD showings.

So, somehow this is different than the last time this happened, but all seems to be OK now (for the moment, at least)...

This blows. I missed Survivor last week because of the channel tag problem. Just went through and redid all my SP's on Monday night and set one of for The Amazing Race. Got home Tuesday to find it did not record.

None of the CBSW-HD shows are showing up in my guide as of 10am this morning.
