Added OTA antenna; lost locals over satellite

I picked up an indoor antenna for OTA high def channels which worked, but now none of the locals over satellite show up on that receiver. They still work on our other 2 receivers upstairs. I triple-checked the settings & tried a reboot & unplug etc. but no luck.

I called DTV & they tried to re-activate them but to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas what could have happened or do I need to get a tech guy out to inspect/replace the receiver?

What does it say when you tune to one of the satellite locals?

There is no message; the banner lists the program info & the guide data is there but the picture is just blank.

Try running setup again.

I re-ran guided setup twice with no luck. I also tried going back to just satellite instead of satellite plus off air, but I still can no longer receive the locals over satellite on that receiver.

You might have to have D* resend the signal to that box. It's worked for me in the past, particularly on getting my locals back.

Yeah they tried re-sending it when I called them, but it didn't help.

I'm not sure what's happening.

UPDATE:

I re-ran the auto-detect and the local channels are now working.
