Is it possible to hook up 2 Tivos to one TV?

I purchased a TIVO for my inlaws and they aren't going to use it. Lucky me, I got it back. I was just wondering if I could connect both to my TV and what the best way would be to do that? I don't have a cable box, only a DVD player and my other TIVO hooked up to it. I'm guessing I might need a cable splitter and a dual phone jack. Any suggestions would help! Thanks!

Yup, split the cable and run each leg into a TiVo, and then to 2 different inputs on the TV. You will also need to assign different remote addresses to each TiVo, and use the 1/2 switch on the remote to switch between them. Instructions on how to do this can be found in your manual and on tivo.com.

Thanks, crowfan! I thought this would be possible, but hadn't spent much time trying to do it yet. Fortunately, I have the peanut with the 1/2 switch so I'm all set then!
