Sorry this might be a little long,
My old harddrive was making some clicking noises and I figured that the harddrive was going out on it. I did a complete drive to drive copy of my old drive to the new one. I used this command to do the copy: dd if=/dev/hdc of=/dev/hdb bs=1024k.
Everything completed without any errors.
After I connected the new drive I had some problems. The backgrounds for the menus were misisng and when I went to the now playing or any other menu it still showed the tv in the background. Also when I tried to update the channels it would connect and download all of the info but when it tried to update it will get to 99% and the Tivo will reboot.
I have tried to clear the Tivo and re-run guided set up and end up with the same results.
If anyone can help me resolve this I would be very gratefull.
