Hi everyone, i've had a Pioneer 810 for about 2 months now and have been enjoying the tivo plus service that was already activated by a previous owner. My question is in regards to my current tivo service level. It reads "C: 032606. i'm guessing that means my plus service expires on march 26 and it'll revert back to the basic service that comes with the unit. am i correct? any help is appreciated.

Nope. 032606 is not a date.

Thanks for the reply. I finally called TIVO directly and they informed me that the C meant it was month to month and the number didn't mean anything. I do wonder, however, how much the girl on the other end actually knows. She seemed to struggle a bit with the info I was giving her from my System Info Screen. Oh well, could have been my fault for not being clear. Thanks everyone....or, the one person who replied. :rolleyes:

So wait, if it's on month-to-month and service is still active two months after you got it, who's paying? It doesn't sound like you're paying, so did the original owner forget to cancel?

May have been the trial version of plus before being upgraded.
Since Tivo does not make the Pioneer unit they may have had to look up the information to make sure they were telling you the correct information.... just come here next time I could have told you that :)

or it could have been a one year pre-pay but I doubt that the C means that it's a monthly subscription. I just checked my lifetime Tivo and it says C: 032506
