I really wish Ms Attitude (brenna) would have gone instead of the maxim model. Hopefully next week!

becky was tied for 2nd to last place. So maybe something to the information after all?

edit...nah. Stevie was 4th last on the spoiler yet left. Notice how no one clapped when Brenna was announced safe and Ryan had to say , ok clap now!

Bobby deserved to go but Sway was worse that poor Patrick!

I think the Maxim model will do fine. Perfect Pussycat Doll material.

I would like to have seen Patrick stay around for another week...I thought his performance last night was rather good. I definitely wanted to see Sway leave with Bobby.

Count me in as another who's surprised that Patrick was sent home. Between the two that were on the stage, I think Bucky was definitely worse than Patrick (but better than Sway; I'm also surprised Sway didn't go home too).

I totally expected David to go home.....especially when he stuck out his tongue at the camera when the show was starting! Very immature. Must be the teeny-bop girl vote keeping him in for now.

I expect the next two guys to go will be between Sway, David, Kevin, and Bucky.

The first few weeks are the little stuff. All these losers will be gone soon and we can focus on the real contest.

Sure... things should have happened a little differently tonight to be "perfectly fair"... but no one that went tonight should have remained into the finals anyway, so what-the-heck. :p

I was a bit shocked that Becky went before Brenna. I thought the hatred for her was strong. And as glad as I am that Bobby is gone, the little crooner dude, or Kevin should have gone with him. Of course, in my opinion only,

Patrick should not have been voted off.

He wasn't voted off. ;)

He wasn't voted to stay, tho.

I did think Stevie sang better tonight than the other night, as did Patrick.

Agreed.

I guess too many people must have listened to the judges regarding Sway.

You might say they were swayed.

I voted for Patrick 5 times.

I'm sad to see him go, and I think he'd have been a real asset to the show. It's ridiculous to have a one note growler like Bucky there in place of a sophisticated performer like Patrick.

They got it right with all the others though.

Will Maker is VERY hot...The high school girls (and gay bois) will keep him around for a long time.

America has got to be kidding me! Becky going home??? As well as Patrick? I'm really surprised more people didn't vote for Becky. I agree that Becky will do well and soon!

Hey, Becky didn't do well, but she is Hot! I'm really Suprised she didn't stay longer. Maybe Simon was right and America has been trained!

I liked how Bucky randomly ended up next to patrick, though. It was a pretty cool way to add suspense. Could have been Taylor or that crooner dude if they lined up slightly differently.

No real suprises. Some others were probably more deserving then some who went, but as mentioned, they all need to go before the final 12, so what does it matter?

Voting for people to go home would likely have yielded different results.

The women up for elimination certainly did not know how to act with each other.

Anyone notice they didn't mention that 100billion folks voted etc? Maybe they are doing the moderating of power dialers as they mention in their ending tagline. When I watch these eps, I wonder.....are these 24 people REALLY better than the hundreds of thousands that tried out? I dont know what it is but some I just say..no way...at least one other person has to be better singing/looking etc.

Can we please, for once and for all, give up on the "Why don't thay change it so that you can vote against someone?" Everyone would gang up on the leader and the biggest threat would be eliminated each week.

If you want to "give up" on a topic, perhaps you should not be the first one to raise the issue.

For me, the only contestants worth a damn are as follows:

Girls - Mandisa, Paris, Lisa, Kathrine
Boys - Elliot, Taylor, Chris

I did not watch the results show, but I have to say that during the Girls and Boys shows, I agreed with 99% of Simons comments  Scary, but true. He got it right.

I distinctly heard Ryan say that there were "almost 40 million votes cast". Or was it 30 million? Anyway, the point is, it was mentioned.

Your other point is the one made during every beauty pageant. "She's nowhere near as pretty as Jane down the street", etc. Two factors here. One, they can only select from those who line up to audition and two, everyone keeps forgetting that it's an ENTERTAINMENT show and not a talent show. This means that the people selected to go through are there for entertainment and not necessarily because they are the best (remember the twins?).

She was probably really pissed as her heart had just been torn out in front of 30 million people. I don't think I would want to be grabbed then either, well maybe by Becky and her sister.

She got over it quickly enough to do her model-stare int othe camera for....a....very....long...time going into the break and then again at show's end.

She's already calculating her next move towards fame.

I know it's been said before, but if Bucky can't control is right arm's need to be playing the guitar that is usually there, he will go. It's just too funny watching him.

And didn't ms attitude try to hug her also then saw she wasnt in the mood for a hug so she just walked away leaving becky on stage with ryan?

Making them sing after the boot isn't nice if you ask me.

I think these results shows are a complete waste of time. Normally, I just Tivo and FF to the last 5 minutes to see who got the boot. Last night, I Tivoed Survivor, and did not even bother to watch. Did we really need an hour to boot 4 people? Do we really need 30 minutes to boot 1 person each week?

I obviously see the logic from a money making perspective - they get a lot of viewers and a lot of $$$ for these shows - but personally, they are a YAWN. On Nashville Star, they boot the loser at the beginning of the next show. Takes about 2 minutes, which is plenty.

any notice that when Ryan looked like he was going to pick Brenna that Kellie pumped her arm and mouthed Yes! in the back row only to looked sad when she realized Ryan wasn't kicking her off?

Then of course Ryan had to encourage the ladies to clap for Brenna - and what a lackluster round of appaluse that was. Brenna must really not be liked.

You don't think we need to revist the 21st-24th place contestants as they revisit their losing performances?

I agree that result shows always massive ff. I think I was a little out-of-practice last night, but I won't be so slow next time.

I guess that's what happens when you watch Survivor the same nite as AI. ;)

I thought the same thing about Stevie and Patrick. I just don't remember them having sung that well the first nite. Also, Stevie's real voice REALLY annoys me. She and Paris have this Betty Boop squeaky voice. Doesn't Meghan Mullaly from Will & Grace talk like that too in the show but in real life has a "normal" voice? After that performance I expected Stevie to have a sexy sultry voice.

I think Simon was right on the mark with Patrick. He didn't stand out.

He has a good voice and is a good-looking guy but he was one of those people who tend to fade into the background for some reason.

Why do the producers subject us to the same exact songs that people voted they liked the least?

If there is anything cornier than an AI "montage" with everyone singing, I have yet to see it.

The day is approaching to give it your best
You've got to reach your prime.
That's when you need to put yourself to the test
And show us the passage of time.
We're gonna need a montage (Montage)

Except for Patrick, I think America got it right. While there were others who should have gone (Brenna), three of the four needed to go before the final 12. Patrick should have been safe for a few more weeks. There were other boys who were much worse.

I don't get all the hate for Bucky. i thought he did great with his song. Once again, there are many who were much worse.

So you think that she hooked up with ryan but because she was booted wanted nothing to do with him, or that they had a mean breakup unrelated? I think it would be pretty funny if this year's scandal involved ryan with a contestant instead of paula.

It appears that Simon agrees with you. His comments could not be shorter. He looks like he just wants to get out of there.

As for Becky, I think it's just a case of a hot girl thinking that Ryan's not entitled to have his hands on her.....

Patrick should have stayed, Bobby Brady should have left in his place. (Will Makar)

The way I saw it with Becky was she definitely didn't want Brenna to hug her, so she turned away, and then realized "Hey, I'm on national TV and I don't want America to think I'm mean or spiteful to Brenna, so if Ryan tries to touch me, I'll have to turn away from him too". Yes, I think she instinctively cringed at the thought of Brenna hugging her, and then was embarrassed by it, and decided to just appear "not in the mood" for physical contact.

BTW, I just want Gedeon, AKA David Alan Grier, to go home ... Simon is so right ... his smile bothers ME too!

And what is all this "Ace is gay" stuff? Because he chose a George Michael song? Geez! He'a a hottie and who cares what his sexuality is? ;)
