Cycling fans: unfortunately my TIVO missed recording a very important show (to our family) last night.
By chance, did any of you record the Tour of California bicycle race, Stage 2, Tuesday night (feb 21) on ESPN2?
If so, is there any way you could share the video with me?
I'm happy to cover shipping expenses. Or perhaps you can post it some place where I can download it.
Do you have other suggestions on how to find this video?
thank you.

I missed it too. ESPN2 moved the start time of the show, and my TIVO missed it. I think I'll pad the rest of the shows by an hour on each side.

Be careful if you pad the show. I added an extra 30 minutes at the end and I think this may have created a conflict with another show. I think this is why I missed the show, not sure. (I thought I checked the to do list to be sure so it is still a mistery).
I'm hopeful that someone here recorded the show and is willing to share the file via DVD or download.
It was a critical stage of the race. Great tactics by Discovery.

Actually, my TIVO did record the stage. I can transfer it to a tape for you if you'd like, but I'm afraid I don't have a DVD burner.
Let me know.

It would be helpful if ESPN2 labeled it more clearly than just "Cycling". Searched for Tour de California, couldnt' find it, had to look by channel on ESPN2. They wouldn't call the Tour de France "Cycling" would they???

I've been seeing the highlights on the news, but didn't realize ESPN2 was carrying it. I've been pretty busy watching the Winter Olympics.
This morning when I was looking over my To Do List I saw some hits for the Cycling ARWL at the very end, so maybe it was picking up stages after the Olympics are over.
It's actually helpful that they have a label of "Cycling" because that allows you to set up one SP or ARWL to get the whole season.

Not sure if this is the problem, but it's actually called Tour of California. Maybe TIVO will pick it up that way.
I just found the first showing in the Guide, and set a pass for it that way.
By the way, great race so for. Four days, three leaders. The final stage takes place 3 blocks from my house, so I'll be out for sure.

When you set up your season pass for the tour of california, make sure you pad the ending by at least 30 minutes. The transmissions are supposed to be 10-11 PM (PST) every day, but ESPN2 has been delaying them, starting around 11:15, depending on what is going on on the prior time slot.
I missed the finish of stage 1 for this reason.
