The Loop

Has anyone else seen the previews for Fox's new sitcom The Loop? I could barely make it through the commercial. Makes me pine for the days of Pamela Anderson working in a bookstore. I can't believe this network canceled Arrested Development.

I saw the pilot for it several months ago. Not great but not Pamela Anderson at a bookstore bad either.

Yeah apparently there are 3 seasons in tv now.

Fall season of suck
January Season of God Awful
March Season of OH MY GOD HOW COULD YOU THINK THIS WAS A TV SHOW.

It's based out of an airline, so it'll get the same (ill-advised) chance from me that LAX received. Then after about 3 airings, I'm sure I'll be done with it... As it does look awful.

I LOVE this show!! I sure hope FOX brings it back next season - I never saw any Nielson ratings for it so I don't know what the odds are on that.
All the quick little exclamations that I've never heard before crack me up.
And the old guy/CEO is hilarious! :)
The line he had in the season finale "We're going to pass the Dutchies on the left hand side" had me laughing so hard I had to pause the show! :D Then I went back so I could hear him say it again!
My wife and I assumed that he had to have the writers explain that joke to him - unless he listened to 80's music.

The Loop grows on you because the main character is fallibly appealing. Meredith, his boss, and his assistant are great for hilarious one-liners. Its not on the level of AD, but its worth watching.
