I loved Lou Ferrigno getting his purple pants back from the cleaners. I was however a little disappointed that the show didn't bring on Linda Carter, Lee Majors, and some other guests (not that the script was bad). I was expecting Spence to keep upping the ante, or walk into the show with the Justice League behind him.

Funny bit about the hairdresser and only Carrie should be giving him 15 minutes of pleasure once a month.

How long has this show been on now?

(I take it this show was a repeat, but it was new to me ;))

oh boy...here we go again ;) try doing a search on "Leah Rimini fat" and see what comes up.

I'd say this show has been on the air for at least 5 years. While it still is good, I think it used to be much better.

Yeah, I figured this was an older ep. I do remember the "fat" thread, although I couldn't read through it all. Thanks for the heads up :up:

It debuted in September 1998. Hard to believe, but this is its 8th season.

They should bring back Carrie's sister. She was cute.


This episode was from earlier this season.

I didn't really understand why Spence had to choose between Lou and Adam. How great would it be to walk into a comic book convention with both of them?

I concur that Carrie's sister needs to come back. She went the way of their dog and Doug's sister though... Side characters lost over time.

I forget....was Carrie's sister that girl that played the sister on Mad About You? I remember Doug's sister was Ricki Lake.

I don't think so. The joke at the end was that Adam left Spence on the side of the road because Lou told Adam that Spence had ditched him in favor of Adam.

She was played by Lisa Rieffel (http://imdb.com/name/nm0726170/). I don't know where you might know her from, but I remember her as the youngest sister on Empty Nest (she was only on one season of that too).


Ricki Lake did play Doug's sister.

I don't even remember them having a dog. I guess it wasn't as cute as Carrie's sister.

She was only on a few episodes, probably less than 5.

And they had the dog early in the show, maybe the second season or so. It didn't last long.
