This ep was a'ight. I didn't enjoy it as much as last week's, but it was pretty good.
I'm not a big fan of Riley. I don't dislike him, but I don't think he carries the story as well as Huey does, b/c he is too much of a caricture, and is not self-aware.
The Huey getting dumb by watching black tv was funny, but it's not any different than anything Aaron has said or done about black TV before.
I don't know how many of you youngins remember the Joy of Painting with Bob Ross, but to see him as a psycho was pretty funny.

I could have sworn he was a psycho or something. I looked him up online and didn't find anything, though.

I keep forgetting to record Boondocks, but Bob Ross (or his image, actually) made a cameo on the Dilbert series as well.

And Family Guy.

Bob Ross was a 20 year Air Force vet (he worked in the medical records department), so there has a been a running joke to expand that role to an actual grunt soldier who can snap. I believe the rumor that used to go around was that he was a medic in Vietnam which would cause him to theoretically act this way, but that's not true.

I agree with the basic issue that Huey episodes >>> Riley episodes. I felt the same way about Lets Nab Oprah, and to some extent, The Reality. At least in The Reality we had the White Ghost stuff. They don't need to do silly episodes, they have lots of stuff to talk about.
I did forget to mention my favorite line tho ... "And that guy who drew the talking penguin. The talking penguin guy was an artist." *Was* is such an implication ... I was a huge Bloom County fan, but I don't read the new Sunday Opus anymore, and I bet half the fans don't even know it's back.
